Starting here at Clay Ground in 2021, Kim Tran was a new student to ceramics and slowly transitioned herself into an independent artist based in Richmond. In the last couple of years, Kim was very drawn to the concept of Nerikomi, a Japanese ceramic style, and started to embrace it into her own work. She enjoys both the intentional and surprising elements of it.
