DROP MOLD FORMS​

In this 4-week, all-levels class, students will explore drop molds, slab building, and coil techniques to create unique vessel forms. Weekly 2-hour sessions focus on building with intention, managing clay at different stages, and constructing multi-part pieces.

• Students will:

• Design and use simple drop molds

• Work with slabs made by hand and with the slab roller

• Combine leather-hard and fresh clay

• Build forms using slabs and coils

• Learn drying strategies and how to keep clay workable over time

• Students will create 2–4 pieces over the course. All materials and taxes are included.
