Students will:​​

• Fundamentals of hand-building techniques in ceramics

• Pinching methods to create small, functional, and sculptural forms

• Slab building techniques for constructing structured pieces

• Coil building for creating larger or more complex shapes

• How to plan and design ceramic projects from concept to completion

• Proper use of tools and materials included in the course

• Techniques for refining, joining, and finishing pieces

• Studio practices, including safe and efficient workspace habits

• Independent skill development through guided open studio time

• Complete 3–6 finished ceramic pieces by the end of the course

• All materials and taxes included in the course fee
