Service Description
This 4-week hand-building course invites students to explore animal forms as a sculptural focus. Taught by ceramicist Debbie Quick, Sculpting the Animal Form is ideal for students who are ready to deepen their artistic voice and expand their sculptural techniques. Through structured demonstrations, one-on-one guidance, and creative exploration, participants will learn to build expressive, anatomically informed animal building solid then hollowing out. Emphasis will be placed on form, gesture, and surface development to bring each creature to life. This course supports both functional and purely sculptural approaches, encouraging each student to pursue a personal direction within the shared theme. All materials and taxes are included in the course fee. Whether you're looking to deepen your technique or expand your portfolio, this course offers a creative and supportive environment to grow.
