Service Description
During this four week class, taught by Brooklin Grants, students will meet across 2 hour sessions to learn how to design simple drop molds that open the door for new and unique vessel shapes. Open to all levels, we will go over making slabs by hand and with the slab roller, connecting leather hard and fresh clay, and building up a form with multiple components using slabs and coils. We will also cover drying times and techniques, as well as keeping clay pieces workable over long spans of time. Students will make 2-4 pieces over the course. All materials and taxes are included in the course fee.
